Mackerel muscle cell lines (Mack1 and Mack2) before and after immortalization and in different phenotypes

Bulk RNA sequencing data was obtained from two Atlantic mackerel (Scomber scombrus) muscle cell lines, Mack1 and Mack2, at pre-immortalization and post-immortalization passages.

Description

Mack1 cells were at passages 27 and 77 and Mack2 cells at passages 2 and 180. This project investigates how these cells were able to spontaneously immortalize and what transcriptomic changes occur in vitro during different muscle cell phenotypes.
