Revision of the penthimiine leafhopper genera Haranga Distant, Malichus Distant and Neodartus Melichar (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae: Deltocephalinae) of the Indian subcontinent

Three leafhopper genera in the tribe Penthimiini from the Indian subcontinent are revised These include Haranga Distant with three species: H. decurtata Distant, H. orientalis (Walker) and H. scutellaris Distant; Malichus Distant with one species, M. capitatus Distant and Neodartus Melichar with one species, N. acocephaloides Melichar. All the taxa dealt with are diagnosed, described and illustrated. The male genitalia of the type, H. borneensis Distant, a species from Borneo, is also illustrated.

A revised key to genera of Penthimiini of the Indian subcontinent is given along with a key to species of Haranga and host plants of N. acocephaloides.
