Physical trajectory profile data from glider blue deployed by University of Massachusetts - Dartmouth (UMassD) in the Mid-Atlantic Bight from 2017-08-31 to 2017-09-22 (NCEI Accession 0238799)

To do this, we will deploy glider BLUE for its Mission-9 from UMassD's RV Lucky Lady at a site west of Gay Head Martha's Vineyard, MA (41 14.89 N/70 57.21 W). BLUE will be equipped with a CTD, optical measurements of chlorophyll, backscatter, CDOM, and oxygen.

Glider BLUE will saw-tooth its way southward toward the western corner of the OOI Pioneer Array glider domain and then proceed to zig-zag across the shelf on to New Jersey (NJ), where it will be recovered about 21+days after deployment. During its transit, glider Blue will slice through the Cold Pool four times, providing valuable information on the seaward and landward extent of the Cold Pool throughout the northeastern MAB.
