Macrozoobenthos from two locations along the southern coast of the Baltic Sea (2019)

Macrofauna samples were collected in three replicates during two research campaigns onboard s/y Oceania in January-February and October 2019 using Van Veen grabs.

Samples were sieved over a 0.5 mm mesh size sieve and preserved in formaldehyde solution. Organisms were identified under a stereomicroscope to the lowest possible taxonomic level, counted, and weighed (wet weight). The dataset presents the abundance (A) in numbers of individuals per square meter, and biomass (B) in grams per square meter.
