Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) Files

This series contains one record for each AIDS case reported to the agency by state and local health departments, physicians and other health care providers. The records include data such as age, race, sexual classification, diagnosis and reporting dates, vital status, mode and frequency of exposure to Human Immunodeficiency Virus, country of birth, death indicator, symptoms diagnosed, region of residence, and case weight.
