Metagenome and metagenome-assembled genome predicted gene sequences and their annotations for "Spatial heterogeneity in carbohydrates and their utilisation by microbial communities in the high North Atlantic"

Eight PacBio HiFi metagenomes were generated from seawater samples collected in the Eastern Fram Strait for the study "Spatial heterogeneity in carbohydrates and their utilisation by microbial communities in the high North Atlantic". See the methods section of the manuscript for details on data processing.

Here, we provide the predicted gene sequences from the PacBio HiFi reads and MAGs along with tables that outline the position of the gene on the original read/contig, length, direction of transcription and taxonomic and functional annotation results from numerous databases. The raw metagenome reads and MAGs are available at ENA PRJEB58071.
