Kuppam dolerite benches: ground-penetrating radar fracture model, verification and block yield - pilot dataset

<p>Three dimension-stone benches at a dolerite ("black granite") quarry near Kuppam, Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh, India, were surveyed on 18 to 20 August 2026 with a Proceq GS8000 dual-frequency ground-penetrating radar on a painted 0.5 m grid (Block A 5.5 × 5.5 m, 24 lines; Block B 9.5 × 6.0 m, 33 lines; Block C 7.0 × 8.0 m, 32 lines). The survey was carried out by PARSAN Overseas Pvt Ltd. This deposit is the independent re-processing of that survey by the author: the picks with two-way time, six fracture surfaces (two per bench) as OBJ, DXF and 10 cm grids, their registration onto photogrammetry of the same benches through the painted grid, the surface-crack maps, a straight-cut (guillotine) block plan with an order of cutting, an uncertainty analysis (tolerance ladder per surface and Monte Carlo risk per planned block), the verification of every stage against the contractor's report, and a study of the joint sets visible in the photogrammetry against the radar surfaces.</p> <p>Contents: 89 survey-line records; per-bench point clouds; surfaces in the bench frame and in the report frame, v1 and re-datumed v2; DEMs; picks; registration and frame files; 178 radargram panels rendered from the raw records; every table the report and the interface read from; the figures; the consolidated report and the audit documents; the standalone interactive model (English and Tamil) as served at libishm1.github.io/Kuppam_granite-deposit_GPR-Fracture_study/; and all code.</p> <p>Conventions: each bench in its own metric frame, origin at the north-western corner of the grid, z negative downwards; east is grid +x on Block A and grid +y on Blocks B and C; depths at 0.1202 m/ns (median of 114 diffraction hyperbolae; the contractor's slab calibration of 0.1200 m/ns is included).

The block plan is a model, not a promise: surface cracks are not measured for depth and steep cracks are not reliably constrained by this survey. On Block A the walls show an east-dipping joint set the radar never traced; the modelled sheets dip south. B-1 is not confirmed on the rock.</p> <p>Not included: the contractor's report, the raw SEG-Y records and field sheets, the full photogrammetry meshes and photographs, correspondence, and commercial figures.
