UAV-derived NDVI and land surface temperature products, ground-measured soil moisture data, and processing code for alpine grasslands

This dataset provides UAV-derived vegetation and temperature products, ground-measured soil moisture observations, and Python processing scripts associated with the study “Cross-scale retrieval of surface soil moisture content in alpine grasslands: Conditional gains from UAV sub-pixel heterogeneity and regional mapping with Landsat”. The deposited files include: 1. UAV-NDVI.zip: UAV-derived normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) products. 2.

UAV-LST.zip: UAV-derived land surface temperature (LST) products. 3. ground_soil_moisture_points.csv: Ground observations containing site identifiers, longitude, latitude, and measured volumetric soil water content (Measured_VWC). 4. SSMC_submission_code.zip: Python scripts and supporting documentation for UAV processing, soil moisture calibration, heterogeneity extraction, regional modeling, and validation. The NDVI and LST files are processed products.
