Cognitive profile in PD

Verbal episodic memory was assessed using the Spain-Complutense Verbal Learning Test (Test de Aprendizaje Verbal España-Complutense, TAVEC; Benedet and Alexandre, 1998), and visuospatial episodic memory was assessed using the 7/24 Spatial Recall Test (7/24 SRT; Rao, Hammeke, McQuillen, Khatri, and Lloyd, 1984). Executive function was assessed using the Phonemic Fluency Task (PF; Benton and Hamsher, 1978), the Backward Digit Span of the WAIS-III (BDS; Weschler, 2001) and the Trail Making Test (TMT; Reynolds, 2002).

They were selected following the recommendation for neuropsychological evaluation of PD made by the Movement Disorder Society Task Force Guidelines (Litvan et al., 2012).
