This report describes how UNHCR responded to an emergency situation in North Waziristan and Mianwali, Punjab province, where Afghan refugees were entering Pakistan.
Description
The focus is on a health and nutritional assessment of the children of new arrivals who were under five years old and of pregnant and lactating mothers. Observations are made of the refugee camps and the feeding centres.
