Description
The eye tracking data includes the number and duration of fixations on endpoints. An Eyelink 1000 Desktop eye-tracker was used to record gaze movements, and it was run on the software PsychoPy (Pierce et al., 2019).
The tracker operated at a sampling rate of 500 Hz. Participants were seated approximately 60 cm in front of a 24-inch monitor. Calibration was performed once before the experiment for each participant, involving tracking eye gaze on a calibration spot appearing in an identical order at specific positions on a grey screen.
