Description
In this study, the microphysical sensitivity of Arctic mixed-phase multilayer clouds are examined via two case studies observed during the MOSAiC campaign in September 2020. Sensitivity simulations on cloud droplet activation, primary ice, and secondary ice processes were performed.
The ICON model is used to model these clouds and observational data from the MOSAiC campaign is used to constrain and evaluate the model.
