The Swedish Gallup Institute’s surveys from 1942-1956

The results are presented in tabular form divided by gender, age group, social group affiliation and urban/rural area. The accompanying questionnaires contain exact question formulations. The collection was a gift to SND, with a view to making it available to the Swedish research community.

Digitisation was made possible through funding from Riksbanken's Jubileumsfond. Digitisation and post-processing of the printed copies were carried out by Digital Services at the Gothenburg University Library. The dataset consists of: - "Rapporter_pdf" (.zip) - All reports in PDF format - "Formular_pdf" (.zip) - All questionnaires in PDF format - "gallup-studies.html" - Links to the individual studies in the collection - "gallup-questions.html" - Links to the questions in the collection - "gallup-questions.csv" - All of the questions in the collection in csv format - "gallup-project_swe.docx" - Background and information about the digitisation project and the Gallup collection (in Swedish) - "gallup-project_eng.docx" - Background and information about the digitisation project and the Gallup collection (in English) - "comments_digitisation-project.xlsx" - Comments from the digitisation project The reports and questionnaires are also available in a high resolution TIFF format.
