View of the dirt lanes of the North Figueroa Street construction site, showing a truck, looking south, February 1936

A dirt lane of the North Figueroa Street site runs from the lower left corner to the centerground of the image. A piece of construction machinery sits in the center of the lane near its far end, while a truck sits in front of it, facing the lower left corner.

Wooden planks sit among the dirt in the right foreground of the image, while a wheeled apparatus sits at the left foreground. The hazy skyline of downtown sits in the background, with City Hall at the right.
