The IDEAS project sought to improve the health and survival of mothers and babies by generating evidence to inform policy and practice and strengthening the public sector’s capacity for data-based decision-making.
Description
It undertook formative research for the creation of a Data Informed Platform for Health (DIPH) that was piloted in two districts, North 24 Parganas and South 24 Parganas, in West Bengal. This data collection contains transcripts of face-to-face in-depth interviews with representatives, on the operation of the District Health & Family Welfare Society in North 24 Parganas and South 24 Parganas, and field notes produced during observations of meetings of the Executive Committee of the District Health & Family Welfare Society.
