Sampling Lakes & rivers: visited three times per year; 10 randomized points Visit 1 (spring): presence/absence only (no collection) Visit 2 (mid-summer): clip harvest collection occurs via rake or quadrant sampling Visit 3 (fall): presence/absence only (no collection) Wadable streams: visited three times per year; 10 transects Visit 1 (spring): point count visual survey only (only collection for identification) Visit 2 (mid-summer): point count visual survey and clip harvest collection occurs at a quadrant near each transect Visit 3 (fall): point count visual survey only (only collection for identification)
