Calendula L. specimens held at AVE (Herbarium of the University of Aveiro)

This dataset includes Calendula L. specimens held at AVE (Herbarium of the University of Aveiro), and used for the recently published partial taxonomic revisions for the Iberian Peninsula, Morocco and some taxa from Algeria and Tunisia, and the Canary Islands, by P. Silveira et al. (Phytotaxa 352 (1): 1–91; Phytotaxa 605 (1): 1–83 and Phytotaxa 640 (2): 125–160). Most of the specimens were collected by P. Silveira and collaborators, but some collections were offered.

For example, these include specimens collected and cultivated by Olofron Plume, on the scope of her PhD at Cornell University, and by HAL (Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg herbarium).
