This preliminary report describes the discussion and decisions involved in a workshop on asylum law and practice.
Description
This workshop was organized by INTERIGHTS to provide a forum for lawyers in the U.S. and Europe to consider the ways in which the increasingly restrictive and inhumane asylum practices prevalent in their jurisdictions might be legally challenged in national and international fora on the basis of international law and comparative legal arguments.
