Transcriptome and histone modification datasets of cold-primed wheat leaf samples

The specific experimental treatments were as follows: Seedlings were divided into two groups at the three-leaf stage. One group was maintained at a normal temperature of 20 ℃/16 ℃ and served as the non-cold priming (N) group, and another group was subjected to a lower temperature (10 ℃ /6 ℃) for 24 h as the cold priming (P) group.

Both groups were then returned to normal growth conditions for a 9-day recovery period, followed by a 24-hour chilling stress treatment at 2 ℃/0 ℃. This yielded four experimental treatments: non-cold priming + control (NCT), cold priming + control (PCT), non-cold priming + chilling stress (NCL), and cold priming + chilling stress (PCL).
