Education Voucher Demonstration Project Files

The agency contracted with the Rand Corporation and C. M. Leinwand Associates to compile and process the files. This series contains data on the Education Voucher Demonstration Project, a large-scale education and social intervention program in Alum Rock Union Elementary School District, San Jose, California.

Files document various communities impacted by the voucher program including students and teachers, and parents and the community. Also included are achievement test data and children's self-constructs test data. This data comprises government records extracted from the Archival Research Catalog (ARC).
