<p>Panels <b>A</b> and <b>B</b> correspond to the aligned amino acid sequences of the S100 proteins (Ca<sup>2+</sup>-binding loops are shown in <i>yellow</i>) and TNFSF members (β-strands are labelled according to ref [<a href="plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0341400#pone.0341400.ref003" target="_blank">3</a>]), respectively. The α-helices and β-strands are marked in <i>cyan</i> and <i>green</i>, respectively.</p>
