This occurrence dataset records field‑survey records of the newly‑described plant species Chelonopsis guchengensis.
Description
The new species was discovered by Yuhan Xu, a member of the World Academy of Sustainable Development (WAOSD), together with her research teammates in 2024. Field‑investigation was carried out inside Nanhe National Nature Reserve, Hubei Province.
In‑situ surveys confirmed five independent occurrence localities for Chelonopsis guchengensis. The dataset contributes to biodiversity documentation and conservation research on Lamiaceae plants in the Shennongjia‑Gucheng mountainous area.
