The Configuration of the Eyes Affects the Detection Advantage of Direct Gaze

Listed in ScienceDB

The current study used the visual search task (Dunn et al., 2018) to investigate whether the direct-gaze advantage in capturing attention depends on a specific configuration (face configuration or eyes configuration) in two experiments.

Description

In the experiment, participants were presented with four images and asked to judge whether there was a target with a direct or averted gaze.
