The biomechanical evolution of the uterus and cervix and fetal growth in human pregnancy: Data & Analysis

Listed in Columbia University Academic Commons

This file contains measurements of human uteri, cervices, and fetuses in a longitudinal study of pregnancy biomechanics alongside the methods used to analyze them.

Description

The size and shape of the maternal uterus and cervix were collected via 2D ultrasound concurrently with measurements of the developing fetus. Cervical stiffness measurements were collected via cervical aspiration.

Measurements were collected at 4 gestational ages (9w3d-15w3d, 17w3d-20w5d, 23w3d-27w1d, and 33w4d-38w0d, w = weeks and d = days) from 47 participants who delivered at term. Maternal information, including age, demographics, and parity, is also provided. The Data and Analysis folder contains .xlsx and .csv files of the biomechanical measurements across pregnancy, a .xlsx file comparing collected fetal measurements to existing growth curves, a folder containing the code used in the statistical analysis, and README file with further explanation on the contained information.
