Crouzon-PUACT: Dataset of Paired Preoperative and Postoperative Upper Respiratory Tract CT Images in Patients with the Crouzon Syndrome

The associated craniofacial skeletal dysmorphology frequently results in upper airway narrowing, predisposing patients to obstructive sleep-disordered breathing. Affected patients typically undergo midface advancement surgery to restore the craniofacial architecture and enlarge the airway space.

Due to the low incidence of the Crouzon syndrome and the limited number of cases, publicly available annotated airway CT datasets for the disorder remain scarce. Existing airway segmentation studies have focused predominantly on healthy or general populations, whereas investigations specifically involving patients with the Crouzon syndrome have relied mainly on in-house datasets. To address this gap, we have constructed the Crouzon Paired Upper Airway CT dataset (Crouzon-PUACT), the first airway CT dataset specifically for the Crouzon syndrome, that included 68 high-resolution pre- and postoperative scans from 34 unique patients.
