Part I of this article describes the objective, organization, methodology and selected empirical findings of a large scale action-research on population displacement and resettlement under 192 development projects assisted by the World Bank in 39 countries.
Description
Part II dwells on the outcomes of this research, an operational effort, in terms of theoretical gains from applied inquiry, strategy recommendations and post-research follow-up.
