Adansonia (3) 25 (2): 233-237, DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.4605237 KEY WORDS Tricholepis, Asteraceae: Cardueae, India. ABSTRACT A new species, Tricholepis raghavendrae Saklani & Chaudhary (Asteraceae), is described and illustrated from Himachal Pradesh, India.
It differs from other species in the genus in having petioled lower leaves and pinnatifid upper leaves, ciliate outer phyllaries, puberulous inner phyllaries, purple florets and free and scabrid pappus bristles.
