This report illustrates the lengths to which voluntary organisations are going to assist those denied support under Section 55.
Description
It also illustrates the fragility of this work, and the impact it is having on the core activities of these organisations. The authors of this report also provide an insight into the experience of Section 55 from the point of view of the individuals denied support.
Homelessness is a glaring characteristic of this experience, as is hunger, depression, anxiety and poor physical health.
