All the patients were divided into two groups according to the presence or absence of left ventricular intracardiac thrombosis. There were 212 patients without intracardiac thrombosis and 52 patients with intracardiac thrombosis.

Univariate analysis was used to compare the general data, laboratory test results and echocardiographic results of the two groups. Factors that represented statistically significant differences between the two groups were further analysed by binary logistic regression to identify the risk factors for intracardiac thrombosis in patients with chronic heart failure in sinus rhythm.
