Making Sense of Segregation in Public Space. Semi-structured interviews: perception and experience of the diversity of public square users

63 transcribed semi-structured interviews with adults (aged 18 or over) with the possibility of using the squares Lindenplatz, Hallwylplatz, Idaplatz (in Zurich, Switzerland), i.e. who either live, work, study, etc. in proximity (5 to 10 minutes walking distance) to the squares.

The main themes of the interviews were: - Meaning of the square for the participant - Use of the square - Perception of other square users - View on the social mix of square users - General views on diversity - For some interviews: changes in square use (or public space use in general) due to COVID-19
