Working Poverty and Employment Attachment in New York City’s Post-Pandemic Recovery: Testing an Urban-Regional Adaptation of the International Labour Organization Employment Diagnostic Analysis Framework

The study applies selected components of the International Labour Organization's (ILO) Employment Diagnostic Analysis (EDA) framework to examine whether New York City's post-pandemic employment recovery translated into improvements in working poverty and selected measurable dimensions of employment quality.

The analysis is based on publicly available IPUMS USA American Community Survey (ACS) microdata for 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024. The repository includes derived analytical datasets, geographic reference files, documentation, repository guidance, and the accompanying preprint manuscript. Where available, analytical scripts and supplementary materials are provided to support transparency and reproducibility.
