Two-day Butterfly Survey Dataset at Namdapha National Park and Tiger Reserve, Arunachal Pradesh, India

This survey documented butterfly diversity of the forests. Observations were recorded through direct sightings and wandering surveys across multiple locations along a dedicated trail within the study area.

This dataset helps to understand the butterfly diversity of the forest and updates the available information for biodiversity monitoring, ecological research, and conservation planning.The species are identified up to the species level, wherever possible. A total of 115 species of butterflies are recorded, 80 belonging to all 6 families of butterflies available in India.
