Abstract
The third instar larva, pupa, and eggs of Yingaresca holosericea (Bowditch) are described and illustrated. Biological notes providing life history data including feeding habits on its host Cordia monsperma (Jacq.) R. & S. (Boraginaceae), adult egglaying capacity, larval behavior and some adult behaviors, as well as data on parasitism are presented. Similarities between this species and Ophraella conferta (LeConte), Walterianella bucki Bechyné and Alagoasa Bechyné species are discussed.
