Description
Some recordings include transcripts with translations in Burmese and English. Part of the data has been glossed and annotated.
The project is ongoing and more recordings are being transcribed, translated, and annotated continuously. Initial data was collected in Shan State, Myanmar in 2019 and 2020 by Mathias Jenny, Rachel Weymuth, and Alexandra Herdeg, in collaboration with the Department of Anthropology, Mandalay University. The data is being edited and transcribed by Han Tin, and additional data is being collected online.
