Difference between neutron and proton effective masses as a function of the baryon density.

Listed in ScienceDB

In the nonlinear relativistic mean field model, the isospin splitting of the effective nucleon mass is primarily determined by the coupling strength of the $\delta$ meson.

Description

The large coupling strength of the $\delta$ meson results in large isospin splitting of the effective nucleon mass. When the coupling strength of the $\delta$ meson is zero (set1), there is no isospin splitting of the effective nucleon mass.
