I created this file from SYSTAT file = copnm, which I created on 06 October 1988 for my book.
Description
I assume that I checked the SYSTAT file two times at creation. Key variable = Number of mouthfuls of dry grass carried into burrow on female's day of estrus Most mouthfuls occurred BEFORE copulation, but some occurred AFTER copulation

This file does NOT include data from BTPD males that did not take any NM underground for an estrous female--I.E., NO DATA when NM = 0 In other words, this graph includes data only from BTPD males that took >=1 mouthful of dry grass underground when a BTPD female was in estrus. NM = Nest material; Cop = copulation Year = 78 = 1978, 80 = 1980, 88 = 1988, and so forth These data used for Fig 15.15 in Hoogland 2026. This file ready for longterm storage on 19 March 2025.
