Multimodal Neuroimaging Dataset of Meige Syndrome

This dataset is a part of a study investigating the differences in brain regions among patients with Meige syndrome (MS), providing clues for understanding the neural mechanisms of Meige syndrome.
Description
All participants were recruited from the Department of Neurosurgery at China-Japan Friendship Hospital. The inclusion criteria for MS patients were a diagnosis of primary Meige syndrome by an experienced senior neurosurgeon based on standard clinical criteria, no other craniocerebral lesions or psychiatric diseases, and right-handedness.This dataset consists of multimodal neuroimaging data from 31 right-handed MS patients (23 females; 31-74 years old, mean = 58.32, SD = 9.60).
The brain images were acquired using a 3.0 Tesla scanner (GE MRI 750) at the China-Japan Friendship Hospital. The multimodal imaging protocol included a set of MRI sequences of the high-resolution T1-weighted structural MRI (sMRI), resting-state functional MRI (fMRI), diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) and arterial spin labeling (ASL) MRI.We are releasing these data for both research and education training in human brain sciences.

Specifically, to protect personal information, we applied the face masking toolkit to achieve privacy anonymization by blurring facial information while all the participants agreed to share their anonymized data to the public. To monitor the quality of all structural and functional images for each participant, we also employed MRI_QC toolkit for generating reports on the data quality, which are included in the sharing.
All data structures conform to the specification of BIDS data structure.
