The 1992 Legislative Yuan elections were the first elections for the national legislature after the retirement of the old legislators elected on the mainland in 1948.
Description
Thus, this election marked the first complete election of the Legislative Yuan and also the first time that the membership of the legislature completely reflected current popular opinion in over forty years.We carried out a post election survey. The survey was of a panel design, so that we could observe the changes in attitudes among individual voters.
Altogether, 743 interviews were completed.
