Strategic Planning for the Real Estate Education in Taiwan

Listed in Harvard Dataverse

In this research, we use round table meeting, questionnaire survey, and strategic analysis framework, to analyze how real estate education should adapt new strategies to meet new challenges from the market.

Description

The main strategic analysis frameworks are SWOT, Porter\'s Five Power, and Wu\'s \"Nine Strategic Rules\". We find the most important thing that real estate education needs to do is to create new courses to fit the need of the market.

The best way to achieve this goal is to combine different departments in a university to form a real estate management program. To directly establish a new master program is another way. We find to courage students to pursue Ph.D. degree in a country like, U.S.A. is a good way to have more new faculty equipped with new real estate knowledge.
