Physiological and transcriptomic analyses reveal the effects of rearing temperature on growth, muscle texture and nutritional quality of Carassius gibelio.

Listed in NCBI GEO

To investigate the effects of rearing temperature on muscle development at the transcriptional level in gibel carp (Carassius gibelio), the fish were exposed to three constant temperatures (24°C, 28°C, and 32°C) for 70 days.

Description

The transcriptome analysis results demonstrated that the rearing temperature significantly influences the expression of genes associated with muscle development.
