<p>Total cell lysates were prepared from the hippocampus and analyzed for protein expression by Western blotting, followed by quantitative analysis.
Description
Results are presented as fold-change relative to the control/vehicle group, which is represented by a dashed line. Data was analyzed by unpaired t-test (n = 11−12 each group).
The levels of glutamatergic synaptic proteins, including SYP, VGLUT1, PSD95, and NCAM, were significantly increased in the control/LH-001 group compared to the control/vehicle group. The GABAergic synaptic protein VGAT and the astrocytic protein EAAT2 were also significantly increased in the control/LH-001 group compared to the control/vehicle group. Additionally, the levels of VGLUT1 and EAAT2 were significantly increased in the GWI/vehicle and GWI/LH-001 groups compared to the control/vehicle group.
