Invasive crayfish occurrence in Piedmont plain lakes (NW Italy)

This dataset compiles data from a field survey of 17 lakes located in the Piedmont plain (Northwestern Italy), conducted from late June to early October 2025.
Description
The primary objective of the survey was to update and expand current knowledge on the occurrence and population status of non-native crayfish within the region (Kamburska et al., 2026). The data provide an updated overview of invasive crayfish distribution in Piedmont's lakes and can support biodiversity monitoring, invasive management and conservation planning (Boggero et al., 2025).
