The first record of Auchenocrepis alboscutellata Puton, 1874 (Heteroptera ¦ Miridae) on the island of Fuerteventura (Canary Islands, Spain) is reported. This is the first record of the species in the archipelago. Furthermore, its known distribution and the presence of the genus Auchenocrepis Fieber, 1858 in the Canary Islands are summarised.
