A. SUMMARY Census tracts boundaries in San Francisco county.
Description
Census tracts are small, relatively permanent statistical subdivisions of a county. They are uniquely numbered in each county with a numeric code.
Census tracts average about 4,000 inhabitants ranging from 1,200 – 8,000. More information on the census tracts can be found here . B. HOW THE DATASET IS CREATED The boundaries are uploaded from TIGER/Line shapefiles provided by the U.S. Census Bureau .
