One day Bird Survey Dataset of Non-core Area of Jim Corbett National Park, Uttarakhand, India

The survey focused on documenting bird diversity across habitats characterised by stony river beds, riverine corridors, and hill woodland forests. Observations were recorded through direct sightings and opportunistic surveys across multiple locations within the study area.

The dataset contributes to the understanding of bird distribution and habitat use in the Himalayan foothill landscape and provides baseline information for biodiversity monitoring, ecological research, and conservation planning. All the species are identified up to the species level. A total of 64 species of birds are recorded belonging to 33 families and 14 orders.
