N9101 XBT Data

Listed in NASA Earthdata CMR

The vertical distribution of water temperature in the surface layer of the ocean up to a depth of 500 m was measured at equal spaces of 30 min of longitude using an Expendable Bathythermograph(T-6).

Description

This instrument was built by Tsurumi Precision Machinery Co. The initial data were classified into data sets according to depth expressed in meters.

All of the data, obtained more than a year ago, is now available on magnetic tape.
