311 Service Request (deprecated)

This dataset has been deprecated and superceded by the new dataset 311 Requests: data.winnipeg.ca/Contact-Centre-311/311-Requests/u7f6-5326. This dataset is limited to a subset of certain request types, and new dataset is a complete list of every service and information request submitted to 311 from 2008 to present. The original description for the dataset is below: Service Requests received by 311.

The following Service Requests have their location randomized: Dog Complaints, Graffiti, Mosquito Complaints, Neighborhood Liveability Complaints, Sewer Backups, and Vacant or Derelict Building Complaints. The randomization function changes the location to less than 500m in the X and Y directions, and always within the same neighbourhood. The randomization occurs as a mechanism to ensure privacy for sensitive service requests.
