Le jeu de données comprend un rapport détaillé, un tableau contenant des variables clés relatives aux caractéristiques de chaque lac et de chaque bassin versant, ainsi que d’autres informations complémentaires, telles que la délimitation des bassins versants, la bathymétrie et les photographies aériennes des lacs. This dataset presents an in-depth study of observations conducted between May 2001 and August 2002 in 16 lakes and 20 streams located in the municipalities of Saint-Hippolyte and Prévost.

The main objective of this study was to create a reference logbook, identify and understand the sources of phosphorus, organic carbon, and sediments in the watersheds, establish the phosphorus budget for the main lakes, and provide recommendations for sustainable aquatic management. The analysis examines, in particular, the influence of water residence time, the impact of human activities, and the presence of wetlands on water fertility, transparency, and deep water oxygenation.

A detailed study of the hydrological network of the Connelly Lake watershed also helps determine the phosphorus and sediment export coefficients, thus providing essential support to guide future lake management. The dataset includes a detailed report, a table containing key variables related to the characteristics of each lake and watershed, as well as additional complementary information, such as watershed boundaries, bathymetry, and aerial photographs of the lakes.
