Dataset Description This is a dataset of emotional contexts that was retrieved from the original EmpatheticDialogues (ED) dataset.
Description
Respondents were asked to describe an event that was associated with a particular emotion label (i.e. p(event|emotion). There are 32 emotion labels in total.
There are 19209, 2756, and 2542 instances of emotional descriptions in the train, valid, and test set, respectively.
