Deportations Files

The agency used the files to capture records of aliens deported under order of deportation, aliens required to depart under threat of such an order, and alien crewmen whose landing permit was revoked. The agency produced statistical summary reports on deportations from these records.

This series contains records with the alien's name, Immigration and Naturalization Service assigned identification number, sex , nationality, year of entry, status at entry, reason for deportation, month and year of deportation, agency bearing deportation expense, and country of destination.
